Secret Garden is another bath bomb from the LUSH Mother’s Day range. I believe this product was created a few years back to celebrate spring time. I have never tried it before, so this is a first impression review!
AROMA: The name gives it away, Secret Garden smells like a floral garden! The main smell is rose. There are three different types of rose ingredients in this product – red rose petals, rose absolute, and rosewood oil. A good floral bath is great once in a while!
COLORS: The outer layer of this bath bomb is so groovy! I love the green with the big pink flower. This layer also is very frothy and creates a layer of bubbles not he top of your tub. Yellow and an array of petals are hidden in the middle. This is the secret garden part! The bath water stays a light, foamy green.
DEBRIS: I love the idea of flower petals in a bath bomb, especially one called Secret Garden, but it does make your tub extra dirty! I always have to rinse out my bath tub after bath bombs with petals, glitter, confetti, etc. I love the baths! The cleaning just is a bit irritating.
INGREDIENTS: The ingredients in Secret Garden include rose absolute, sweet wild orange oil, marigold petals, red rose petals, rosewood oil, gardens extract, and blue mallow flowers. The rest of the ingredients are safe synthetics. This bath product is not vegan.
I would give this product 3 stars out of 5. I like the idea of Secret Garden but it really is just another LUSH floral bath bomb. There is nothing that special about it. Although, if you love to experiment with different LUSH baths, definitely check this one out! It is only available while supplies last after Mother’s Day.
